NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION helping out the cause - Here's the press release from Sept 08 -

"On Thursday, Sept. 11, the New England Revolution will proudly participate in Operation Soccer Ball, a humanitarian effort to spread
universal goodwill by distributing soccer balls to children in Iraq. All fans attending the Revolution's Sept. 11 match against Chivas USA are
encouraged to bring deflated soccer balls for donation at the Gillette Stadium gates. Each ball will be delivered to an Iraqi child who does
not have the means to obtain a ball to play the world's game. With this effort, Operation Soccer Ball aims to spread camaraderie and friendship
between nations and provide hope to the people of Iraq through the 'universal language' of soccer."
